Piraeus: Aid Collection for Fire Victims

The Municipality of Piraeus and the Piraeus Health Runners Association are collecting essential supplies for fire victims. The initiative, in collaboration with the Piraeus Municipality Volunteer Office «Piraeus TeamUp», aims to provide immediate support to those affected.

Citizens are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items, baby food, and personal hygiene products. The collection will take place at the Piraeus Municipality Volunteer Office (Kora Square, Ground Floor of City Hall) until Monday, August 25, from 09:00 to 19:00.

The Mayor of Piraeus, Giannis Moralis, expressed his solidarity, emphasizing the importance of responding immediately to the needs of the fire victims. The President of SDYP, Angelos Samios, called for awareness and participation in the effort. The Municipal Councilor for Volunteering, Ellas (Elina) Verykaki, stressed the moral obligation to support our fellow citizens.
