GeSY Website Access Restricted from Abroad – Restoration Expected in September

Temporary restrictions have been placed on access to the GeSY website from foreign countries, with beneficiaries receiving a relevant message on their mobile phones. The restriction concerns access only from Cyprus and Greece.

Marios Tziakouris, Director of the IT Department of the Health Insurance Organisation (HIO), stated that the measure is temporary and expressed hope that access from other countries will be restored in early September.

Mr. Tziakouris clarified that the measure is not due to a cyberattack but is a preventive security measure.
