Tsada Fire Under Control – Residential Evacuations

The major fire that broke out in Tsada was brought under full control around 8 p.m. on Sunday, according to Fire Service spokesperson Andreas Kettis.

The fire, which started at 3 p.m., was contained after many hours of firefighting efforts and burned approximately one square kilometer of dry vegetation, grass, and trees.

Firefighting forces remain in the area.
