Polemidia: Turkish Cypriot Land Transformed into Ghetto and Dump

An inspection of Turkish Cypriot agricultural land in Polemidia, which has been transformed into a foreign ghetto, was carried out by the Mayor and the Director of the Turkish Cypriot Property Service.

The transformation of the area into a garbage dump and car cemetery was confirmed. According to the Mayor of Polemidia, at least fifty foreigners reside there.

A meeting between the involved parties will determine the next decisions regarding the eviction of the Greek Cypriot beneficiaries and the cleaning of the plots.
