How to Check Camera Traffic Tickets and How Long They Take to Appear

Citizens can now check online for any pending traffic tickets recorded by the photo enforcement system, without having to wait for mail.
The website https://cycamerasystem.com.cy/, which was launched in January to serve and collect approximately 250,000 unserved fines for the period January 1, 2022, to September 30, 2024, remains active for newer violations.
According to Assistant Director of Traffic Headquarters, Charis Evripidou, the website is continuously updated as an additional tool for the Authorities. Citizens can check for pending fines and pay them through the website.
Mr. Evripidou stated that a traffic ticket from the photo enforcement system appears on the system in 10-15 days, provided there are no issues with the data.
Steps to check for a traffic ticket:
- Visit the website https://cycamerasystem.com.cy/
- Click on "View incidents / referrals."
- Click on "Search for Pending Incidents."
- Enter your ID or passport number and vehicle registration number.
If there is a fine, it will appear on the page. To pay, visit the Police website (www.police.gov.cy). To appeal, submit your complaint through the website https://cycamerasystem.com.cy/.
The public can contact the number 80008009 for problems related to payment or data entry.
