Tender Announced for Paphos - Polis Highway Study

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announced a tender for the study and construction of the first phase of the Paphos – Polis Chrysochous highway, from Agia Marinouda to Stroumpi.
The tender concerns the completion of the study and construction of section 1 – Phase (A) of the highway, with a length of approximately 15.5 km. The deadline for submitting bids is November 7, 2025.
The project includes an interchange at the beginning of the project, an at-grade intersection at km 9+500, and a terminal roundabout at km 15+200. It also includes five valley bridges, two tunnels (720 m and 250 m respectively), four overpasses and twelve underpasses.
The construction period of the project is 30 months, while the defect liability period is set at 60 months. The estimated cost of the project is €90,200,000, excluding VAT, and is financed by national resources.
