Caution: Fog and Landslides in Troodos – Police Recommendations

Police are urging drivers heading to Troodos to exercise caution due to heavy fog and landslides.

Landslides have been reported on the Evrychou - Kakopetria - Karvounas, Kakopetria - Pinewood - Pedoulas and Pedoulas - Kykkos - Kampou - Orkontas roads.

Visibility is limited due to fog, and the road surface is slippery due to water accumulation.

Landslides have also occurred on the Nicosia - Larnaca highway, near the Lympia and Athienou-Kosii areas. The road remains open.

Police advise drivers to be cautious, obey traffic laws, drive at low speeds, maintain safe distances, and keep their headlights on.
