Larnaca Airport Disruptions: Flight Diversions Due to Fog and Technical Issue

Significant disruptions were reported at Larnaca Airport due to dense fog and technical issues.

According to Hermes Airports, nine flights were affected from 1:45 AM to 7:00 AM on Saturday, July 26th, due to low visibility, resulting in diversions to Paphos Airport.

Additionally, a technical issue occurred in the passenger check-in system, causing delays. Airlines made arrangements, and in some cases, passengers were transferred to hotels.

Hermes Airports assures that efforts are being made to restore normal airport operations immediately.
