Concerns over Dhenia-Astromeritis Highway Route: President Intervenes

Representatives from the communities of Akaki, Peristerona, and Astromeritis met with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Minister of Transport, Alexis Vafeadis, expressing concerns regarding the route of the Dhenia-Astromeritis highway.

The community leader of Astromeritis, Aris Konstantinou, speaking on behalf of the community leaders of Akaki and Peristerona as well, stated that the President requested time to study their requests and that the discussion will continue at a later stage. For the time being, the concerns of the communities have not been made public, as further discussions with officials are expected.
