Biological Sciences Degree at EUC: Specialization and Prospects

The European University Cyprus (EUC) offers a degree in Biological Sciences with specializations in General Biology and General Microbiology. The program, the first in Cyprus to specialize in Microbiology according to the guidelines of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), combines theoretical and laboratory education.

Students have the opportunity to undertake a six-month internship in organizations such as the Department of Fisheries and the Department of Forests. The academic experience is enhanced through collaborations with the School of Medicine and the programs of the Health and Life Sciences.

EUC has been ranked among the top 501-600 universities worldwide in Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE WUR). Graduates can work in fields such as medical technology and the pharmaceutical industry.
