Bus Fire in Limassol Near School

A fire broke out in a bus in Limassol early Wednesday morning while it was parked near a primary school.

The Cyprus Fire Service received a call at 05:52, and the Agios Ioannis Fire Station responded. The fire was brought under control at 06:07.

The driver noticed the fire when starting the vehicle and exited immediately, without injury. Extensive damage was caused to the bus engine.

The causes of the fire will be investigated by the Cyprus Police and the Electromechanical Service of Cyprus.
