Fire in Larnaca Residence: Roof Collapses, Six Evacuated

At 06:02 today, the Fire Service received a call about a fire in a residence in Larnaca. The fire broke out on the second floor.

The Fire Station of Deputy Fire Chief Andreas Papadopoulos responded and brought the fire under control at 06:41.

The second floor of the residence sustained extensive damage, and the wooden roof collapsed. Six people were evacuated from the residence before the arrival of the Fire Service and were examined by the Ambulance Service.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will be conducted in cooperation with the competent authorities.
