Fire in Latsia Home Caused by Candle – Two Hospitalized

A fire broke out in a bedroom of a house in Latsia, resulting in two residents being taken to the hospital with respiratory problems.

The Fire Service responded with two vehicles at 15:39. The fire completely destroyed the bedroom. According to the investigation, the fire was caused by a forgotten lit candle in a children's room.

The Fire Service announced that in the last 24 hours, it responded to 26 incidents, 12 of which were fires.
