Fire in Kelokedara: Started from Illegal Dump Site

A forest fire broke out within the administrative boundaries of the Kelokedara community and was brought under full control at 14:45.

According to the Department of Forests, the fire started from an illegal dump site. It burned an area of four decares with low wild vegetation.

The extinguishing operation involved 2 people from the Department of Forests with 1 fire engine and 2 people from the Fire Service with 1 fire engine.
