Kouklia Fire: One Hectare Burned in Ha-Potami

A fire broke out in Ha-Potami in Kouklia, resulting in the burning of a total area of one hectare. According to a post by Fire Service Spokesperson Andreas Kettis, dry grass, stubble, cypresses and crops are burning north and south of the Limassol-Paphos highway.

Four fire trucks from the Paphos Fire Station, 2 from the Department of Forests and one K.M.P from the Game Service are at the scene for extinguishing the fire. In addition, drops were made by the two firefighting helicopters.

The fire is under control and the causes are being investigated in cooperation with the Police.
