Fire in Pomos, Cyprus, Quickly Brought Under Control

A fire broke out in the community of Pomos this Sunday but was quickly brought under control by firefighters.
The fire started at 15:15 and was promptly contained, burning a small area of dry grass. The extinguishing operation involved 11 personnel from the Department of Forests with 3 fire trucks and one earthmover.
The causes of the fire are under investigation.
