Limassol Fires: Testimonies and Devastation

Harrowing testimonies emerge from Limassol residents whose properties were destroyed by the recent fires. Nikos, a father of two from Lofou, described the agonizing effort to save his children and property, while the Gerolemou family from Agios Therapontas lost the home of three families.

Lucy Armstrong, a British resident of Souni, described the destruction of her home and the lack of warning. Similar is the testimony of Sylvia Constantinidou, also from Souni-Zanatjia, who emphasized the absence of timely notification and assistance.
