Fire Department on Alert in Paphos: Three Fires Under Control

The Fire Department responded to three fires in the Paphos district today. An additional fire is currently burning in the Mavrokolybos area.

According to a Fire Department spokesperson, a fire broke out in discarded materials in abandoned apartments in Kato Paphos, which was brought under control.

Another fire broke out near the community of Akoursos, in a difficult-to-access area with dry grass and wild vegetation. The Fire Department and the Department of Forests intervened.

Additionally, a fire occurred in dry grass and wild vegetation near the community of Choletria, which was extinguished.
