Rhodes: Lighting Pole Falls on Moving Car

A lighting pole collapsed in Rhodes, falling on a moving car in the Rodini area. The incident caused material damage to the vehicle, breaking the rear window.

According to rodiaki.gr, the metal pole fell amidst strong winds. Its replacement had been scheduled after a tender last summer, but the process was delayed due to a contractor's objection, according to ALPHA.

The Municipality of Rhodes and the Traffic Police were notified of the incident.
