Police Officer Suspended for Transporting Refrigerator in Patrol Car

A police officer from the Nea Ionia Traffic Police has been suspended by order of the Hellenic Police Chief, following a video showing him transporting a refrigerator in a patrol car. The officer has been summoned to testify as part of the sworn administrative inquiry ordered into the incident.

The video was published on TikTok with the caption: "The patrol car is not a taxi," a phrase linked to the case of Kyriaki Griva.
