Fire Safety Seminars in Schools Announced by Ministry of Education

The Minister of Education announced the implementation of fire safety seminars in schools, starting from the next academic year. Athina Michaelidou, following a meeting with Fire Chief Nikos Logginos, emphasized the importance of creating a culture of fire prevention and response.

The seminars will be conducted by the firefighters' association and the retired firefighters' association, covering all grades from pre-primary to high school.

The meeting had been scheduled before the recent tragic fire incidents, as stated by the Minister.
