26-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Frenaros Car Accident

A 26-year-old is in serious condition at Nicosia General Hospital after a car accident in Frenaros.

The accident occurred at 1:30 AM when the young driver lost control of his vehicle, causing it to overturn in a field. The 26-year-old was trapped in the car and required the intervention of the Fire Department for his extrication.

He was initially taken to Famagusta General Hospital, where he was found to have multiple fractures of the thoracic vertebrae and ribs, a fractured chest, and pulmonary contusions. Due to the severity of his condition, he was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital for further treatment.

The circumstances of the accident are under investigation.
