Fire at Messolonghi Hospital: Alert and Patient Transfers

An alert was triggered early Sunday morning at Messolonghi Hospital when thick smoke appeared on the second floor, where the Cardiology Clinic is located. The Fire Department rushed to the scene.
According to messolonghinews.gr, the smoke was likely caused by a short circuit and spread to the third floor, where the Pathology Clinic is located. Hospital staff immediately mobilized to ensure patient safety.
Three patients were transferred to Agrinio Hospital as a precaution to reduce congestion and ensure the smooth operation of the clinics.
So far, there are no reports of injuries, and the causes of the incident are under investigation.
