The unions OMEPEGE-SEK, SEGDAMELIN-PEO, and DEE EM/KON DEOK announced that, following the lifting of strike measures at Larnaca Public Transport, monitoring will continue to resolve issues under the supervision of the Department of Labour Relations.

The goal is the full implementation of the Collective Labour Agreement. The General Assembly of workers decided to lift the strike measures following a proposal from the Ministry of Labour.

Workers are giving the company time to implement the Ministry's proposal. The unions thanked the Ministry of Labour for its intervention and apologized to the public for the inconvenience.

The aim is to upgrade the transport system and ensure the rights of workers, as stated in the announcement.
