Evagoras Pallikarides Monument in Lysos to Undergo Maintenance

Procedures for the maintenance of the Evagoras Pallikarides monument in Lysos are underway, according to community leader Giorgos Ioannou. The EOKA Fighters Association has also been informed.

Mr. Ioannou stated to CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY that the community authority is proceeding with the replacement of flags and the installation of new ones. The cost of the works has been undertaken by the community authority.

Furthermore, plans are in place to create a Museum in Lysos, which will include photographic material of Evagoras Pallikarides. The rental of the former Cooperative Foundation building from the state is awaited, where a room dedicated to the hero will be created.
