Tala: Children Learn Traditional Easter Treats

An initiative to strengthen community ties and introduce children to traditions is being organized in Tala ahead of Easter. The community authority, the elementary school, and the women's association "Zina Kanther" are collaborating on the event.

As stated by the president of the Tala Community Council, Giannakis Konikkos, the event will take place on Friday, the last day before the Easter holidays. The children will watch the women of the association make traditional treats such as flaounes and paskies, and will participate in dyeing eggs.

The event will take place in the central square of the community, where the Community Council has arranged for a wood-burning oven to operate.
