Simultaneous Fires in Paphos – Extinguishing Operation with Aircraft

Fires are ongoing in the Paphos district, with three outbreaks occurring simultaneously.

The Fire Service was immediately mobilized, with four vehicles responding to the fires that broke out between the communities of Nikokleia-Fasoula.

Two loaded aircraft are carrying out water drops, while two more have been activated to reinforce the extinguishing operation.

The causes of the fires will be investigated after they are fully extinguished.
