Tragedy in Limassol: Elderly Man Found Dead at Dasoudi Beach

An 80-year-old Greek Cypriot man was found dead in the sea at Dasoudi beach in Limassol on Thursday morning, causing shock in the local community.

According to eyewitnesses, the unfortunate man was found unconscious and washed ashore in front of beachgoers.

The incident has raised questions about the lifeguards' hours, as many swimmers, especially the elderly, visit the beach early in the morning, before the lifeguards start their shift. Since the beginning of the season, there have been five deaths on Limassol beaches.
