Mourning in Aspropyrgos After Death of 10-Year-Old Student

Mourning prevails in Aspropyrgos after the death of a 10-year-old student. The girl collapsed in the schoolyard on Friday (October 31) and was taken to Thriassio Hospital, where doctors confirmed her death.
According to reports, panic broke out at the school. The gym teacher provided first aid, and an ambulance was called. Despite the doctors' efforts, the 10-year-old could not be revived.
The Mayor of Aspropyrgos, Ioannis Ilias, expressed his grief over the tragic event and stated that the child's family is of Pontian origin. The girl's father collapsed upon learning of his daughter's death.
An investigation is being conducted by the police into the causes of death. The Ministry of Education stated that there was no recorded medical problem for the child.
An eyewitness described the dramatic moments: "What I saw was a child down. The school doctor was giving her CPR. Two ambulances came, they took her, escorted by the police. Some were crying."
