TC Media: "The 5 GCs Crossed into Occupied Territories Hundreds of Times"

According to Turkish Cypriot media, the 5 Greek Cypriots detained in the occupied territories had crossed into the occupied territories hundreds of times. As mentioned in a "military court," the camera system at the Strovilia checkpoint has been inactive for months.
Specifically, the online newspaper Ozgur reports that the 5 GCs had visited property belonging to one of them, where 75 residences have been built. The "police" arrested them later, following a complaint.
In the "district court" of Trikomo, the three GCs accused of trespassing and causing disturbance were not detained, as the "prosecution" did not submit a request for pre-trial detention. The other two GCs were remanded in custody for up to 3 months for the same charges and, additionally, for violating personal data.
In the "military court," the defense argued that the man accused of not providing his identity is 1.90 meters tall and was sitting in the back seat with two women. Also, the "police officer" admitted that if the employee had been more careful, he could have identified that there were 5 people in the car.
The cameras at the Strovilia checkpoint have not been working since April due to damage from works by the "municipality" of Famagusta. Evidence presented in the "military court" showed that the 5 GCs had crossed into the occupied territories hundreds of times since the beginning of the year, while the man accused of not providing identification has crossed 325 times in the last 3 years.
