Parliament: New Session on Deadly Limassol Fire

The Parliamentary Committees on Interior, Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Environment are meeting again regarding the fire in mountainous Limassol. Members of Parliament are awaiting answers to questions raised during the previous session.
This is the second meeting held on the matter, with a third expected to complete the parliamentary review. The Chairman of the Interior Committee stated that they are awaiting answers from the invitees, while the Chairman of the Environment Committee emphasized the importance of satisfactory answers, especially regarding the restoration and protection of the area.
Ministers, representatives of Ministries, the Legal Service, the National Guard, the Police, the Fire Department, Civil Defense, the District Self-Government Organizations of Limassol and Paphos, and environmental and agricultural organizations have been invited to the meeting.
