British Destroyer Dragon Arrives in Cyprus

The British destroyer Dragon, which set sail from Portsmouth on March 10, has arrived in Cyprus. Its mission is to strengthen the air defense of British bases on the island.
Defense Minister John Healey confirmed in the British Parliament that the Dragon had arrived in the Eastern Mediterranean and is beginning operational integration into Cyprus' defense alongside allies.
The Dragon is considered one of the most advanced anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense ships in Europe, with its main mission being to protect against aerial threats.
