Rain and Strong Winds Today – Affected Areas

A weak low pressure system is affecting the region. Today, the weather will be partly cloudy with occasional showers, mainly in the mountains and the eastern half of the island. An isolated thunderstorm is possible. The winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, with temporarily strong winds on the western and southern coasts, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be generally slightly rough to rough.
The temperature will rise to around 20 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts, and around 8 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains. Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear, with locally increased low clouds on the coasts. The winds will be light, 3 to 4 Beaufort.
