Rain and Strong Winds Expected on Sunday

Low pressure is affecting the region. Today, the weather will be mainly cloudy with local showers or thunderstorms. Sleet or snow may fall on the highest peaks of Troodos. Thin dust will be suspended in the atmosphere, subsiding by noon.
The winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, and locally on the windward side up to very strong, 6 Beaufort. The sea will be up to rough and locally up to wavy in the afternoon. The temperature will rise to around 18 degrees inland, in the west, southwest and north coasts, around 21 in the southeast and east coasts and 10 degrees in the higher mountains.
