Charalambides: Aiming to upgrade public hospitals

The Minister of Health, Neophytos Charalambides, visited the Famagusta General Hospital in Paralimni, stating that the goal is the continuous upgrading of public hospitals in Cyprus. He also expressed his support and gratitude to the health professionals.

During the visit, the Minister emphasized that he wants to personally assess the condition of the hospitals regarding infrastructure, medical technology equipment and staff adequacy.

Referring to the problem of understaffing at Famagusta General Hospital, Mr. Charalambides stated that he will evaluate all the data in order to ensure adequate provision of quality health services.
