Hartsioitis: Grief for the Loss of Fire Victims

The Minister of Justice, Marios Hartsioitis, expressed his deep grief for the death of an elderly couple during the recent deadly fire. In a written statement, Mr. Hartsioitis stressed that the loss of human lives is a tragic event.

The Minister acknowledged that his previous statements caused negative associations and criticism, and reiterated his sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the victims. He also expressed his support to those who lost their properties.

Mr. Hartsioitis thanked the competent services and the residents of the affected communities for their cooperation, emphasizing that their contribution prevented further loss of life.
