Ministry of Interior: Free Passport and ID Card Reissue for Fire Victims in Limassol

The Ministry of Interior has issued guidelines for the reissue of passports and ID cards for citizens affected by the recent fire in Limassol, without any fees.

This decision is part of the support measures announced by the Council of Ministers. It concerns the replacement of passports and ID cards that have been damaged or completely destroyed due to the fire and are still valid.

Citizens must report the damage or loss of the document to the Police and obtain a complaint certificate (Form Ast. 235). They should then contact the Limassol District Administration for the reissue of the document, which will be done free of charge.
