Interior Minister Focuses on Quality Infrastructure and Local Identity

The Minister of Interior, Konstantinos Ioannou, stated that the Ministry's goal is to create quality infrastructure, revitalize community centers, and strengthen local identity.

In his address at the inauguration ceremony of the Community Council of Kivisili's event hall, the Minister emphasized the importance of the project for the development and social cohesion of the local community.

The construction of the event hall in Kivisili was funded with 450 thousand euros from the development budget of the Ministry of Interior, through the Larnaca District Administration.

Mr. Ioannou also mentioned other projects that have been implemented or are planned in the area, such as the beautification of the area near the cemetery and the installation of games in the park near the mosque.

Finally, the Minister referred to the reform of Local Government and the benefits of integrating Communities into Clusters.
