Fire at SOPAZ Factory in Nicosia Under Control

A fire that broke out in the yard of a factory in the SOPAZ area of Nicosia has been brought under partial control. The fire resulted in three burnt cars.

According to Cyprus Times, the cars were stationary. The Fire Service, which rushed to the scene with four vehicles, managed to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to adjacent properties and warehouses. The cause of the fire remains unknown due to the complete destruction of the vehicles.

A EAC (Electricity Authority of Cyprus) team was called to disconnect the electricity in the area.
