Cyprus: Ministry of Agriculture Launches 'Stagono-metro' App

The Ministry of Agriculture and the «Κοίος» Center of Excellence for Research and Innovation of the University of Cyprus announced the launch of the 'Stagono-metro' application.

According to data, the average water consumption in Cyprus is estimated at around 140 liters per person per day, while the European average is 124 liters. Cyprus faces a chronic water scarcity problem and is among the five most vulnerable countries in the world to water stress.
