Ministry of Education: Absences will not be counted due to teachers' work stoppage

The Ministry of Education announced that absences of Primary and Secondary Education students on Thursday, December 18, 2025, due to the teachers' work stoppage, will not be counted.
According to the announcement, parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting their children to schools at 9:05 a.m. for Kindergartens and Primary Schools, and at 9:00 a.m. for Gymnasiums and Lyceums. Morning bus routes will not operate, except for routes to Special Schools, which will operate as normal at 9:05 a.m.
Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training schools will operate normally, and morning routes will operate normally.
Afternoon return routes will operate normally for all levels.
