High dust concentrations: Which areas are most affected

High concentrations of dust are recorded today, Wednesday, in the atmosphere, according to the Department of Labor Inspection.

Vulnerable population groups (children, the elderly and patients) are urged to avoid being outdoors. Employers must take measures for the safety of outdoor workers, in accordance with the 2022 Decree.

At 08:00 a.m., dust concentrations were: Nicosia 44.4 μg/m3, Limassol 132.6 μg/m3, Larnaca 79.3 μg/m3, Paralimni 82.8 μg/m3, Paphos 180.2 μg/m3, Zygi 126.3 μg/m3 and Agia Marina Xyliatou 178.6 μg/m3.
