Adonis Georgiadis: Police and Prosecutor Intervention Requested Over Rouvikonas Threats to Amorgos Mayor

The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, has requested the intervention of the Hellenic Police and the Prosecutor's Office following public threats allegedly made by Rouvikonas against the mayor of Amorgos.

Mr. Georgiadis' reaction was triggered by a post from a leading member of Rouvikonas, announcing an intervention in Amorgos. The reason for the threat is reportedly the prosecution requested by the municipality against Iasonas Apostolopoulos for a Facebook post and for participating in a pro-Palestine intervention at a festival. The Rouvikonas member wrote, "Ok mayor let's dance."

Mr. Georgiadis, via a post on X, emphasized that the threats against the elected mayor should be seriously examined by the competent authorities.
