Farmers are leaving Syntagma Square this afternoon, concluding their protest. Approximately 2,500 demonstrators, including livestock farmers and beekeepers, gathered with the support of agricultural, labor, and student associations.

Their main demands include reducing production costs and increasing compensation. Rizos Maroudas, president of the Federation of Agricultural Associations of N. Larissa, emphasized that their demands remain unmet.

Traffic in central Athens was affected, with Vassilissis Amalias Avenue remaining closed until the tractors depart. The farmers are planning new protests, insisting on resolving the sector's problems.

Participants in the protest included Sokratis Famellos (SYRIZA), Dimitris Koutsoumbas (KKE), Alexis Haritsis (New Left), the president of Plefsi Eleftherias, and Manolis Chnaris (PASOK-Kίνημα Αλλαγής), among others.
