Alma vs DISY: Clash Over Larnaca Towers Project

The «Alma» party accuses the Christodoulides government and DISY of «ceding public wealth» regarding the approval of the construction of towers in Larnaca. «Alma» claims that the project violates the Barcelona Convention and involves land reclamation, while an executive of the company is a member of DISY's Political Bureau.

DISY responded by referring to «populism» and asked Mr. Michaelides to provide evidence for the allegations. Returning, «Alma» accused DISY of silence and evasions.

In a new statement, DISY responded to Mr. Odysseas Michaelides, accusing him of «slander» and calling on the Department of Environment to provide explanations for the approval of the project. DISY supports the full investigation of every complaint.
