By September 2025, retired and active uniformed officers will receive retroactive payments, without application, via automatic credit of amounts for 27 months. The payment is made after recalculating the withholdings on dividends and pensions, based on law 4093/2012, which was repealed in April 2023.

Regular pension payments for September 2025 are scheduled as follows: On August 26, 2025, the main pensions for the self-employed (OAEE, OGA, ETAA) and supplementary pensions of the private sector will be paid. On August 28, 2025, the main and supplementary pensions for employees (IKA-ETAM, DEI, banks, OTE, Public Sector) will be paid.

The retroactive payments will appear as separate credits. In some cases, there may be refunds to the insurance carrier if larger amounts had been paid.

The payment of retroactive payments strengthens the liquidity of the pension system and citizen confidence, while reducing the administrative burden.
