Andreas Theophanous: Candidate with the Cyprus Green Party

Academic Andreas Theophanous will be a collaborating candidate with the Cyprus Green Party – Citizens' Cooperation in the Nicosia district.

Andreas Theophanous was born in 1960 and comes from Alona Pitsilias. He is an Emeritus Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the University of Nicosia and President of the Cyprus Center for European and International Affairs.

He served as an Economic Advisor to the President of the Republic of Cyprus (1990-1993). He studied Economics and Political Science at Susquehanna University and received M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from Pennsylvania State University.

He is married to Androulla Theophanous and they have three sons.
