Reactions to Flag of Pseudo-state at Di Carlo Meeting

Reactions have emerged following the meeting between the leader of the occupied territories, Tufan Erhürman, and the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary Di Carlo, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

According to published photographs, a flag of the pseudo-state was present next to the UN flag during the meeting, sparking reactions.

DIKO expressed strong protest, calling the photograph unacceptable and offensive to UN resolutions. DIKO called on the government to take steps towards the United Nations and demand explanations.
