Taxi drivers in Attica are holding a three-day strike, which ends at 6 a.m. on Friday. The Attica Taxi Drivers' Union (SATA) is staging protests for the second day.

Today, Wednesday, February 18, a gathering took place at the junction of Antigonis and L. Athens streets, with a procession to Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. For Thursday, February 19, a gathering is scheduled at the SATA offices and a procession to the Maximos Mansion.

Thessaloniki will also be without taxis as drivers participate in the strike called by the Panhellenic Taxi Federation (POEIATA). The Thessaloniki Taxi Association held a procession starting from the PAOK Sports Arena.

The main demands of the taxi drivers are the extension of the mandatory electrification, the withdrawal of Article 52 of the Ministry of Transport, and the reinstatement of the general use register.
