Aristos Damianou: AKEL Ready for Parliamentary Elections

AKEL MP, Aristos Damianou, in an interview with Chrysanthos Tsouroullis, strongly criticized President Christodoulides, referring to the drop in his approval ratings.

Mr. Damianou also commented on the controversial video, stressing the need for the President to acknowledge his institutional responsibility.

Furthermore, he stated that AKEL is ready and renewed for the upcoming Parliamentary Elections in May, with increased representation of women and young people.

Regarding the Cyprus issue, he reiterated the party's firm position in favor of a Bicommunal Bizonal Federation, emphasizing that avoiding partition and occupation are red lines.
